In the present era, laptops have a primary role in education. Due to a lack of funds, it is impossible for students to have their laptops. They can not compete with those who have them. MPhil and PhD scholars, especially, perform research on laptops.
The PMLN has always worked on overcoming this problem. They launched many schemes from which thousands of students all over Pakistan benefitted. So, also this time, in 2024, they are going to launch the laptop Scheme. To apply for any of the laptop schemes, you can click on the following button.
PM laptop Scheme Apply online
This is a merit scheme, not a funded scheme. So, anyone can apply for it, and they will get laptops according to their Marks/CGPA. In this scheme, you will mainly get the laptop, but if your CGPA is high, you will get a chance first.
To get the laptop, you need to register in the program. If you do not apply for the laptop scheme, you will not get it. To register, you need to follow some basic steps.
- Firstly, you have to visit the online portal.
- Then register yourself with complete and original information
- After submission you have to verify your documents from the university focal person.
- After the selection you have to submit a stamp paper and receive a laptop from the university distribution area.

Documents Required For PM Laptop Scheme
You must have some important documents in hand before applying. So that you can fill the required information from them. Some of the important information is given below:
- CNIC number of student
- Your date of birth
- Qualification details
- Domicile
- Contact number
- E-mail address
- Your recent result card
- University and department name

Eligibility Criteria for PM Laptop Scheme
This is a government scheme in which each student can get a laptop once. There are only some eligibility criteria, which are given below:
- You should be a regular student of any government institute.
- You must have passing marks.
- You must not have got a laptop before.
You must know that only being eligible does not mean you will get the laptop. To get the laptop, you must have the following qualities.
- All of your documents must have been verified.
- Your CGPA must be higher than the selected CGPA merit.
NOTE: Every university and department has different selected merit limits.
Last registration date For PM Laptop Scheme
The caretaker government opened the last phase. However, in a recent speech, CM Maryam Nawaz announced the 2024 phase of the laptop scheme. That phase is not open yet, so the last registration date has not been announced yet. I hope it will be announced soon.

PM Laptop Scheme Merit List.
This is a merit scheme so that you will get the laptop according to your merit. To check your acceptance according to merit, you need to visit the original portal. There, you will select your province, your city, your university and, lastly, your department. Here, you will see a list of selected students. Find your name; if selected is mentioned, you will get a laptop soon.
If you have a higher CGPA, but due to any error, a person with a lower CGPA is selected. Visit your department focal person and discuss your problem with him. He is the focal person of government there. It’s his responsibility to resolve your issue.

PM Laptop Price in Pakistan
These are one of the top variant laptops, so they have a high market price. They are prohibited from selling, but many people sell them in local markets at good prices. A new boxed pack laptop may have a cost of 70,000 to 80,000 in the local market.
Universities included in the PM Laptop Scheme
Almost all government universities are eligible for the PM laptop scheme. Medical institutes affiliated with UHS are not eligible for this scheme. The list of selected universities may vary for every phase, so always check your university eligibility before applying.
